MILWAUKIE, Oregon - A nasty bowling ball stuck in a manhole was apparently the cause of a sewage leak at the Miramonte Lodge Apartments at 12200 S.E. McLoughlin Blvd.

The Clackamas County Water Environment Services tell us they're not sure how long the bowling ball had been stuck. Neighbors reported a problem on yesterday.

Crews cleared the blockage, sewage leaks, and posted signs near the Milwaukie boat launch and along Kellogg Lake. The public is advised to avoid contact with the walking trails for the next 48 hours. And to avoid gutter balls.
