On Monday, April 5, frontline workers will be eligible for the vaccine statewide, though more than two dozen counties have already moved ahead of the timeline to start vaccinating this group. To help ensure access to the vaccine for everyone, Brown also announced that the household family members of frontline workers will be eligible for a vaccine, too.
If you're a frontline worker, as defined by the CDC, when you make an appointment for a vaccine for yourself, make them for your entire family, adults, obviously," said Brown. "If you're attending a community vaccine event, bring your family members with you.
Additional groups that become eligible on Monday include people living in multi-generational households, and those 16 and older with at least one underlying health condition.
