Domestic Violence Suspect with Loaded Handgun Located and Arrested by Officers in Parkrose Neighborhood (Photo)

On November 11, 2020, at approximately 9:30 A.M, a man with a weapon was arrested for domestic violence. Police say they attempted to talk with the man inside his car. However, he drove away fast and officers were unable to locate him right away.

However, around 12:25 p.m., the victim of the alleged violence called to report that the suspect was at a business located in the 12200 block of Northeast Erin Way. Police went to the business and found the suspect and arrested him.

After locating the suspect in the parking lot, he was taken into custody. Once the suspect was in police custody it was discovered he was wearing body armor and carrying a loaded semiautomatic handgun with four extra magazines on his belt.

The 35-year-old suspect was booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center and charged with Domestic Violence Assault IV at the felony level.
