PORTLAND, Oregon - Police were called to a report of a man shot near Southeast 136th Avenue and Southeast Powell Boulevard.

Officers arrived and located a male adult with what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the buttocks. He was transported by medical to an area hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.

Officers located evidence of gunfire about one block North of the intersection of Southeast 136th Avenue and Southeast Powell Boulevard.

Members of the Gun Violence Reduction Team responded to assist with the investigation. Southeast 136th Avenue is closed from about the 3300 to the 3500 block (about two blocks North of Powell Boulevard to Powell Boulevard), while investigators search for and document evidence.
