Hit and Run Crash Injures Two Pedestrians, Suspect Outstanding

A white SUV was driving recklessly northbound on Southeast 92nd Avenue and turned eastbound on Southeast Powell Boulevard. While driving under I-205, the reckless driver rear-ended a vehicle stopped at the light, launching the suspect vehicle up onto the southern sidewalk where several houseless community members had set up camp. The reckless driver then drove away striking two of the community members, fleeing in the vehicle eastbound on Southeast Powell Boulevard. The victim from the rear-end crash followed the suspect but lost sight of him soon after.
Witness descriptions varied from a CRV, Toyota SUV and one reported a Chevy S10 Blazer. All reported a white vehicle; unknown driver description.
The victim of the rear-end collision was not injured. However, the two pedestrians that were on the sidewalk were injured. Both were transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
It is unknown if anyone involved wants to talk to media.
