Officers located two crime scenes where there was evidence of gunfire and secured the scenes. They also made contact with the victim at the hospital.
The Gun Violence Reduction Team (GVRT) responded to assume the investigation. They determined that there was an exchange of gunfire at the original location on Southeast 111th Avenue, and that multiple vehicles left the scene before police arrived. They're working to see if the other shooting scene on Southeast 105th Avenue was related. At the 105th scene they located two unrelated, parked vehicles with gunfire damage.
The injuries to the victim were determined to be non-life threatening.
No arrests have been made in this case. GVRT is continuing the investigation.
