|Injury Traffic Crash - Interstate 205 near Johnson Creek south of Portland|

According to Trooper Dessa DeForest, on October 23, 2011 at approximaterly 3:45 p.m. two vehicles were involved in a traffic crash southbound on Interstate 205 near milepost 16. One of the vehicles, a 1992 Toyota Corolla four-door driven by SIERRA D. LOCK, age 19, from northeast Portland, rolled and came to rest on its top in the center and right southbound lanes. The Toyota was rear-ended by a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica driven by CARRIE DIANE KORANDA, age 38, from Oregon City, before losing control and rolling onto its top.
The Chrysler left the scene on three wheels, exiting onto Johnson Creek Boulevard for a short distance before KORANDA abandoned it and left on foot. She was spotted by Clackamas County Sheriff's Office deputies after witnesses pointed her out near SE 82nd Avenue. Deputies detained her and released her to OSP.
Subsequent investigation led to KORANDA's arrest on the following charges:
* DUII * Reckless Driving * Felony Hit & Run * Attempt to Elude Police * Assault in the Third Degree * Assault in the Fourth Degree * Recklessly Endangering Another Person (2 counts) * Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree * Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance
KORANDA was lodged at the Clackamas County Jail.
LOCK and passenger MICKY J. DAMRON, age 19, from northeast Portland, were transported by ambulance to Oregon Health & Sciences University for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Both were using safety restraints.
The southbound lanes were impacted after the crash and traffic was delayed through the area for about one hour.
OSP troopers were assisted at the scene by Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, Clackamas Fire District 1, and AMR ambulance.
