COOS BAY, Oregon - Three men have been rescued from waters near Coos Bay this morning after a fishing boat hit the ground in shallow waters and began sinking. The Coast Guard responded to a mayday call from a 57-foot wooden fishing boat at 5:20 a.m. Sunday. The boat hit the ground about 800 yards north of the North Jetty. The men were taken to the Coast Guard's North Bend station.
