|Storm knocks over trees, cuts power in Northwest|

Many schools were closed, busses delayed, property damaged, and traffic stalled this morning as workers cleared roads.
There were 35 reports of wires down in Clackamas County alone on Sunday. The reports of wires down started coming in at about 3:40 p.m. as the storm moved up from the Willamette Valley.
Nearly 50,000 PGE customers were without power this morning because of the storm and power outages in Portland and outages across in the area from Salem to Portland.
Pacific Power estimated that 75,000 customers were without power and nearly 3,000 Clark Public Utilities customers had no power as of early this morning.
A few small fires started from electric power lines downed by the high winds fell more trees on Highway 214, which was closed, between Woodburn and Mount Angel.
