NEWBERG, Oregon - 32-year-old Matthew Tuftee from Wilsonville was arrested after he stole a car from the Toyota-Scion dealership in Wilsonville last night.

Tuftee hot-rodded the car on an apparent test-drive and drove to Newberg. He avoided police by driving through neighborhood backyards before turning himself over to Newberg police where he was arrested and lodged in the Yamhill County Jail in McMinnville.

There were no injuries and police had the car returned to the Wilsonville Toyota dealership with no apparent damage.
