PORTLAND, Oregon - The Portland Police Bureau's Missing Persons Unit is continuing to ask for the public's help locating 16-year-old Kalpana Wagley, missing since 5:15 p.m. Friday afternoon.

At this point, investigators believe she may be in the company of a friend/associate, 19-year-old Birat Linbu (pronounced Bee-Rat). Birat lives in Southeast Portland.

Kalpana is described as a female Nepalese, 5"00", 94 pounds, and mid-back length black hair. Kalpana was last seen wearing knee-length, cut-off blue jeans, dark brown ski-type boots, and a black vest under a white jacket.

Kalpana was last seen at approximately 5:15 p.m. this evening in the parking lot of 12645 Southeast Division Street with an unknown male, possibly in his 30s.

Anyone who knows of Kalpana's whereabouts is asked to immediately call 9-1-1. Anyone with non-emergency information is asked to call Detective Arjay Dran at (503) 823-0483.
