PORTLAND -- The body of 22 year old Tyler Brady was found in the Willamette River Wednesday near OMSI. Brady was a Portland bicyclist missing since Feb. 19. Police have not said if they suspect foul play but an autopsy was scheduled to determine the exact cause of death.Police were also trying to figure out exactly where and how Brady's body went into the river.

"We just don't know what happened at this time. We'll try to figure that out and get some closure for the family," said Mary Wheat, spokeswoman for the Portland Police Bureau.

Tyler Brady was last seen by a roommate at their home on SEAllDivision. He was reported missing then police circulated photos from surveillance videos. Images from surveillance cameras pictured him riding his bicycle on February 17th near the Lloyd Center and at the Couture Ultra Lounge.

Tyler owned a car but usually commuted by his bike. After finding his body, police said they still have not been able to locate his bicycle. His father traveled to Portland from Idaho to help in the search. He said Tyler would always check in once a week by phone, but he had not heard from him for some time.  He also found Tyler's belongings still in his room and said it did not look like he had packed to go anywhere.

Anyone with information that may help in the investigation was urged to contact detective Mike Weinstein (503) 823-0446.
