Gresham police Looking for Witnesses of Collision

GRESHAM, Oregon— Today at approximately 3:30 p.m., two cars were apparently racing when one of the vehicles struck a bicyclist near the 2700 block of West Powell Blvd. The vehicle that hit the bicycle remained at the scene and the driver was cooperative. The other vehicle left the scene. The bicyclist was taken to a hospital with serious injuries but is expected to live. He was wearing a helmet.

Police are looking for any witnesses of the collision or the possible racing prior to the collision. No arrests or citations have been issued at this time. The investigation is on-going. If you know anything about the collision you are asked to call the Gresham Police Tip Line at 503.618.2719.
