Male Pedestrian Killed in Traffic Crash

BEAVERTON, Oregon - On September 9, 2018 at 11:37 p.m. Beaverton Police officers responded to an injury traffic crash near the intersection of SW Canyon Rd/SW 103rd Beaverton, Oregon.

Officers arrived and found a single vehicle had struck a pedestrian in the eastbound lanes of SW Canyon Rd. The pedestrian passed away on scene. The driver of the vehicle stayed on scene and cooperated with investigators. Officers don't believe the driver was impaired by alcohol or drugs.

Preliminary evidence showed the pedestrian was running south across the roadway when he was stuck by the vehicle in the southernmost, eastbound lane of travel. The pedestrian was wearing all dark clothing and crossing the roadway where it was poorly lit. The pedestrian was identified as 26-year-old Jordan William Lamb.
