The Oregon State Fire Marshal's strike team and task force are actively engaged in firefighting operations on a 24-hour work cycle protecting homes and other structures.

Oregon resources on the fire include 10 engines, and 39 firefighters from Multnomah and Columbia counties. The teams are engaged in fire operations, Multnomah firefighters are assigned to the River Fire, and Columbia firefighters are assigned to the Ranch Fire. An additional strike team from Marion County is en route today, which will include an additional 5 Fire Engines and 22 firefighters.
