Suspects Arrested After Robbery with a Knife in SE Portland

On Saturday November 18, 2017, at 4:20 a.m., East Precinct officers respond to the 7-11, located at 10136 Southeast Washington Street, regarding a robbery.

Officers arrived and contacted a 7-11 employee. During the investigation, officers learned that two men entered the store and took two containers of beer. The clerk attempted to stop the men from taking the beer at which time one of the men threatened the clerk with what was believed to be a knife.

After leaving the store with the stolen beer, the suspects entered and drove away in a green 1998 Acura Integra. An officer located a vehicle matching the suspects' vehicle description near the intersection of Southeast 122nd Avenue and Southeast Stark Street. Officers performed a traffic stop on the vehicle. Officers located evidence of the robbery in the vehicle, as well as two occupants that matched the suspects' descriptions.

Members of the Portland Police Bureau Detective Division's Robbery Detail assisted in this investigation.

The suspects were identified as 23-year-old Sha Lun and 26-year-old Ju Wine. Lun and Wine were lodged in the Multnomah County Jail on charges of Robbery in the First Degree and Robbery in the Second Degree.
