Bank Robbery Investigation in Northeast Portland

PORTLAND, Oregon - On Tuesday July 25, 2017, at 2:41 p.m., East Precinct officers responded to the Chase Bank branch located inside the Glisan Fred Meyer store at 6615 Northeast Glisan Street on the report of a robbery.

Officers arrived in the area and contacted employees who told police that the suspect used a note to demand money from the teller. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect left the store towards Glisan Street without incident.

The suspect is described as a black male in his mid-30s, 6'3" tall, medium build, wearing a gray shirt and baseball cap. No weapons were actually seen by employees.
