Starting in the month of March 2017, the Polk Interagency Narcotics Team (P.O.I.N.T) began an investigation which lasted over a month involving the trafficking of Heroin in the Polk and Marion County areas by two women, Samantha Gaines, Levi McCleskey.

On April 21, 2017 Levi McCleskey was arrested for possession of 22.5 grams of heroin, danabol steroids, and a large amount of cash and gold. McCleskey is currently in custody.

At a residence and a storage unit, police found contraband at a storage unit registered to Samantha Gaines.

Samantha Gaines is a fugitive with felony warrants for her arrest. She is is believed to be armed with either a .45 caliber or 9mm handgun and should be considered dangerous. The Polk County Sheriff's Office is asking for help from the public with information leading to locating Samantha Gaines.

FOX 12 spoke with a neighbor who has lived next to Gaines and McCleskey for years and he believes they were not tenants.

"A lot of cars, a lot of noise at 2, 3, 4, 5 in the morning," said Craig Hoy. "It seems to be over now so that's a good thing as far as I'm concerned and my neighbors as well because we've talked, and I mean, all my neighbors, so you know, it hasn't gone unnoticed."
