PORTLAND, Oregon - Last night police responded to a report of an unknown man who had entered a residence in the 4000 block of Northeast Wistaria Drive and locked himself in a bathroom.
Residents told police they did not know the man and believed he may have entered through an open garage door.
Police circled the home and called Enhanced Crisis Intervention Team for assistance.
Police then talked to the suspect who was identified as 29-year-old Aaron Lavell Reed-Jones. The suspect then came out of the bathroom. Police say Reed-Jones seemed paranoid and confused. He surrendered to police without incident.
Reed-Jones was booked into the Multnomah County Jail on a charge of Burglary in the First Degree.
