Two People Injured in stabbing in in Old Town Portland

PORTLAND, Oregon - On Monday evening, police responded to two different reports of stabbings in Old Town.

The first incident was reported at 10:25 p.m., when Central Precinct officers responded to the report of a person stabbed at the Pacific Tower Apartments, located at 333 Northwest 4th Avenue.

Officers and medical personnel arrived and located a male adult victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. He has been transported to a Portland hospital with traumatic injuries.

At this point in the investigation, there is no suspect information.

The second incident was reported at 10:37 p.m., when Central Precinct officers responded to the report of a stabbing at 10 Northwest Naito Parkway.

Officers and medical personnel arrived and located an uncooperative male adult victim suffering from a non-life-threatening injury. Medical personnel are treating the victim at the scene. A person of interest was located in the area and detained for additional investigation.

There is no apparent connection to the earlier stabbing.
