16-year-old Girl Rescued, Two Men Arrested In Sex Trafficking Investigation

PORTLAND, Oregon - A 16-year-old girl has been rescued and returned to her her family Two men have been arrested.

Two weeks ago police found the victim inside a house in the 8500 block of SE Steele Street. Thursday, she was reunited with her family. Three other people in the residence refused to come out.

22-year-old Tre Quane Jenkins and 20-year-old Antonio Jaray Moore were arrested and booked into the Multnomah County Jail on a charge of Compelling Prostitution. A 16-year-old female sex trafficking victim was reunited with her family.

This investigation started several weeks ago and during the course of the investigation, officers located the victim at a residence in the 8500 block of Southeast Steele Street.

On Thursday, investigators arrived at the residence and made contact with the victim and safely removed her from the home. Three other subjects, including Jenkins and Moore, remained inside and refused to come out to officers. After approximately 10 minutes, the subjects came out and were taken into custody without incident. Jenkins and Moore were eventually booked on criminal charges while the third subject was released from the scene. A firearm was seized by police during the investigation.

This investigation is ongoing and officers would like to hear from anyone with information about this case.
