Traffic Stop near Highway 18 leads to seizure of drugs, money and gun

MCMINNVILLE, Oregon - On Tuesday, at about 3:30pm a State Police officer stopped a 2008 Jeep Liberty regarding a driving complaint on Highway 18 near Highway 99W.

The Trooper reported that he saw possible criminal acts and received consent to search the vehicle. About 4 ounces of Cocaine, $7350.00, and a 9mm handgun was taken from the suspect.

Two people were taken to the Yamhill County Jail for Unlawful Possession and Unlawful Delivery of Cocaine, and Possession of a Concealed Firearm, the passenger was also lodged for Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance - Schedule II.

The driver was identified as 24 year old Ahmed SUMAILAN from Klamath Falls. The passenger was identified as 20 year old Patricia WALKER from Sprague River.
