30-year-old Bridgette Garay and her 7-year-old daughter have been safely located and are no longer considered missing persons.

The Portland Police Bureau's Missing Persons Unit is asking for the public's help to locate 30-year-old Bridgette Garay and her daughter, 7-year-old Dizire Brewster.

Garay is from Las Vegas and is in Portland visiting her daughter Dizire. Today, Friday June 10, 2016, at approximately 4:00 p.m., Garay ran away from her daughter's father out of the Jantzen Beach Red Lion Hotel, with Dizire, and flagged down a passerby in a red Honda Civic with a blue sticker in the back window.

Dizire's father and her family believe that Garay may be suffering from a mental health crisis and may be trying to return to Las Vegas with their daughter.

There is no reason to believe that Dizire is in any danger but police need to locate both Garay and Dizire to check their welfare. Dizire's parents have joint custody.

Garay is described as a Hispanic female, 5'2" tall, 130 pounds, dark hair with blonde tips, last seen wearing a black jersey with white lettering "Flawless 85" on the front and blue jeans.

Dizire is described as a mixed-race female, 4' tall, 50 pounds, last seen wearing a black shirt, gray sweat pants with pink tassels on the legs, and bright pink socks.

Anyone seeing Garay and/or Dizire is asked to immediately call 9-1-1. Anyone with non-emergency information is asked to contact Detective Lori Fonken at 503-823-1081, lori.fonken@portlandoregon.gov.
