TIGARD, Oregon - On Saturday, Tigard Police were called to JB O'Briens Pub located at 11555 SW Durham Rd. in Tigard at approximately 10:55 a.m. The pub was hosting an outdoor corn hole tournament. Corn hole is a game played by tossing beanbags into holes cut-out of wood platforms. Witnesses told police that during the tournament, a Ford pickup allegedly drove past an area of parking spots flagged-off with tape and flags.

The vehicle then continued to be driven over several gaming platforms. Several adults playing the game needed to move quickly out of the way. No one was injured during the incident. The driver of the pickup then parked the truck atop of several gaming platforms, exited the vehicle and waited nearby. Police later learned that the driver may have been opposed to the outdoor event and the impact on available parking affecting his nearby business.

Tigard Police located the driver who was arrested for reckless driving and criminal mischief. The suspect, Matthew Dolphin, 41, was later lodged in the Washington County Jail.
