The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public's help to identify the suspect in a series of convenience store robberies, including twice on May 24, 2016.

On May 7, 2016, at 1:39 a.m., North Precinct officers responded to the report of a robbery at the Plaid Pantry store, located at 7144 Northeast Killingsworth Street.

Officers arrived in the area and spoke to the store employee who told police that the suspect entered the store, picked out some cold drinks from the cooler, then approached the counter. Once at the counter, the suspect put his right hand into his pocket, implied that he had a gun, and demanded money.

After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect quickly walked out of the store and crossed the parking lot towards Northeast 72nd Avenue.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6'00" tall, 250 pounds, with a gray goatee. The suspect was wearing a blue US Postal Service hooded sweatshirt and black shorts.

On Tuesday May 24, 2016, at 2:10 a.m., East Precinct officers responded to the report of an armed robbery at the Plaid Pantry store, located at 6440 Southeast 82nd Avenue.

Officers arrived in the area and contacted the employee who told police that the suspect was armed with a handgun in his waistband during the robbery.

Detectives received surveillance images and believe that the suspect is the same suspect from a May 7, 2016 robbery at a different Plaid Pantry location.

The suspect was described as wearing a medium blue watch cap, burgundy sweatshirt and dark pants.

On Tuesday May 24, 2016, at 12:51 a.m., North Precinct officers responded to the report of an armed robbery at KC's Mini Mart, located at 14110 Northeast Sandy Boulevard.

Officers arrived in the area and contacted the employee who told police that the suspect was armed with a handgun in his waistband during the robbery.

The suspect was described as wearing a white and black baseball cap and a medium blue sweatshirt.

New surveillance images are being released to the public to assist with this investigation.
