On Sunday April 17, 2016, at 12:39 a.m., East Precinct officers responded to the area of Southeast 82nd Avenue and Raymond Court on the report that a man was pointing a gun towards a nearby bar.

Officers arrived in the area and covertly established visual contact with the suspect. Officers could see a handgun in his hand as the suspect walked towards the Fred Meyer store at Southeast Foster Road.

As the suspect started to walk into the Fred Meyer parking lot, officers used a loudspeaker in a police car to call out to the suspect to drop the gun. Officers watched the suspect place the handgun under a small bush and he surrendered to police.

Police seized the handgun as evidence and learned that it was not loaded with any bullets.

Officers learned that the suspect pointed a firearm at a woman at the McDonald's restaurant on 82nd Avenue then was involved in a disturbance outside the 82nd Avenue Bar & Grill.

The suspect, 26-year-old Marshon Page, was booked into the Multnomah County Jail on charge of Disorderly Conduct in the Second Degree, Menacing and Pointing a Firearm at Another.
