VANCOUVER, Washington - At 3:52pm, Vancouver Firefighters responded to 3415 V st in Vancouver's West Side, to the report of a house fire. On arrival, firefighters confirmed that the house was on fire and called for additional resources. The fire was quickly extinguished and some of the resources were released from the scene to go back in service for other emergencies.
19 firefighters responded to the house fire, and Vancouver Police assisted with traffic control in the neighborhood. The Vancouver Fire Marshall's office was on scene with a Vancouver Fire Investigator to determine the cause and the extent of the damage.
The cause and damage estimate are still under investigation. An adult male and female live in the home. The adult male was the only one home at the time of the fire. There were no injuries to fire personnel or civilians.
