The Traffic Division's Major Crash Team is responding to investigate this crash due to the pedestrian's injuries being potentially life-threatening.
Traffic on Division is expected to be closed for a few hours.

On Tuesday March 28, 2016, at 6:42 p.m., East Precinct officers responded to the report that a pedestrian was struck by a driver on Southeast Division Street at 143rd Avenue.
Officers and medical personnel arrived and contacted the male adult pedestrian who was suffering from traumatic injuries. The pedestrian has been transported by ambulance to a Portland hospital for treatment.
The female adult driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. There are no signs of impairment on the driver.
Traffic on Division Street is closed for a short time as officers conduct an investigation.
