by Oregon State Media, Inc.
  Thursday March 17, 2016 - 9:50 AM
Maple Grove Drama students will be performing "Big Bad," a courtroom play by Alec Strum, March 31 and April 1 at 6 p.m. in the Maple Grove School gym. Adapted from the classic children's tale "Little Red Riding Hood," the production presents the trial of the Big Bad Wolf, the protagonist character, in the Brothers Grimm fairy tale.

The story is interactive, relying upon an audience consensus to determine the fate of the Big Bad Wolf. Many other familiar fairy tale characters get in on the act, adding to the excitement and courtroom commotion.

"Big Bad" is suitable for "jurors" of all ages. The event is open to the public and lasts approximately 45 minutes. Tickets at the door cost $1 for children and students and $2 for adults. Maple Grove School is located at 601 SW Eaton Blvd., Battle Ground.
