Arson Suspects Arrested in Florence

The Florence Police Department and Oregon State Police would like to thank the public for their overwhelming support in helping to identify the two suspects in the Arson that occurred on March 3rd in Florence.

The two suspects were identified as James Luis MAIN, age 37, of Florence and a 17 year old male juvenile from Florence. Both were arrested this evening by the Florence Police Department on charges of Arson in the 1st Degree and Burglary in the 1st Degree.


Previously Released:

Florence Police Department and the Oregon State Police are investigating an Arson that occurred to the residence located at 1515 Second Street in Florence, Oregon.

The fire occurred in the early morning hours of March 3, 2016. The owners were not home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported. The Oregon State Police and Florence Police are looking for two suspects.
