ALOHA, Oregon - Sheriff's Deputies responded to a robbery at a cellular phone store and tracked down and arrested an Aloha man.
On March 5, 2016 at 6:58 p.m., Washington County Sheriff's Deputies were called to the AT&T store at 20565 SW Tualatin Valley Highway in the community of Aloha concerning a robbery that just occurred.
Sheriff's Deputies learned that a man, later identified as Steven Prieto, 25, from Aloha, fled the store with two bags of cellular phones after threatening employees. Sheriff's Deputies were told a man wearing a black hoodie entered the store with a mask over his face and told the employees he had a Taser he would use on them.
Sheriff's Deputies immediately responded to the area and found Mr. Prieto, still wearing the mask, three blocks from the store on SW Alexander Street. Mr. Prieto ran but was chased down and captured quickly. Sheriff's Deputies found Mr. Prieto carrying two bags with 19 new iPhones in their original boxes valued at over $15,000.
