SHERWOOD, Oregon - An early morning crash occurred in Sherwood on SW Roy Rogers Rd in front of the Sherwood Safeway. The area is notorious for auto crashes and controversial photo speeding tickets.

Officers found that a white 2015 Subaru 4 door had made a dangerous left turn and crashed into a blue ford F-350 truck. The Subaru was being driven by 44 year old Donna Marie Barkdoll of Vancouver, Washington.

Officers suspected Barkdoll of being under the influence of intoxicants at the time of the crash. After conducting field sobriety tests, Sherwood officers arrested Barkdoll and took her to the Sherwood police station for a breath test. Barkdoll blew a .17 % BAC. Barkdoll was taken to the Washington County Jail and was booked for the charge of DUII without incident.

The Sherwood police asks everyone not to drink and drive! If you see a suspected drunk driver call 911 immediately. Your call may prevent a crash or the senseless loss of life to another.
