PORTLAND, Oregon - The Portland Police Bureau's Missing Persons Unit is asking for the public's help to locate a missing 40-year-old woman, last seen in September 2015.

40-year-old Jennifer Lee Brown is described as a white female, 5'9" tall, 150 pounds, with blonde or brown hair.

Brown was last seen in mid-September 2015 visiting the home of a friend in the area of Southeast 16th Avenue and Stark Street.

Friends and family initially believed that Brown may have entered a long-term treatment facility as she struggled with addiction issues but she has not been heard from nor has she been in contact with anyone. In late-January 2016, police were contacted about Brown's disappearance.

At the time she was last seen, Brown was homeless and camping in parks.

There is no indication of foul play and police would like the public's help to locate Brown to check her welfare.

Anyone with information on Brown is asked to share it with the Missing Persons Unit by email, missing@portlandoregon.gov, reference case #16-26714.
